For over a decade I worked in corporate marketing. Panasonic. IDP Education. British Council. Senior roles, large teams, monthly budgets crossing ₹1 crore. I understood brands from the inside out.
In 2022, I became a mother and resigned. Not because I wanted to step back because there was no support system and my conscious refused to leave my 6 months old son in the hands of random Nanny. That’s when I realised the system had no framework for a woman who wanted both. The career and the child. The ambition and the presence. It simply did not exist.
That year was not just confusion. It was observation. I watched how the professional world treats women who pause. So, I refuse to gave up on my career.
In 2023, during my son's nap times, I started with one project. That became Digital Kalam a remote agency.
Today, Digital Kalam runs at seven figures monthly. No physical office. A team of collaborators. And a very clear point of view on what it takes to build something real in the digital world.
I tell this story because if you are a founder, a professional, or a creator trying to build authority, I have been at the exact starting point you are standing at now.
The confusion, the self-doubt, the starting from scratch. I know what that costs. And I know what gets you out.
